Editorial Policies & Ethical Standards

Peer Review Process
All articles submitted to the Journal of Medicine and Dentistry (JMDNT) undergo a rigorous peer review process. Manuscripts are evaluated by at least two independent experts in a double-blind manner. The editorial board makes the final publication decision based on reviewers’ comments, scientific merit, and relevance.

Publication Ethics
JMDNT adheres to the highest standards of research and publication ethics. We follow the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors must ensure originality, avoid plagiarism, and disclose any conflicts of interest.

Authorship Criteria
All listed authors must meet the authorship criteria defined by the ICMJE, including significant contributions to the conception, drafting, and approval of the final version of the manuscript.

Plagiarism Policy
All submissions are screened for plagiarism using reliable detection software. Any detected misconduct will result in rejection or retraction.

Data Availability
Authors are encouraged to provide access to underlying data whenever possible, ensuring transparency and reproducibility.

Conflict of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest relevant to the submitted work.

Corrections and Retractions
In cases of errors or ethical concerns, JMDNT will issue corrections or retractions in accordance with COPE recommendations.
