Open Access Policy – Journal of Medicine and Dentistry (JMDNT)

 

1. Open Access Model

The Journal of Medicine and Dentistry (JMDNT) is a fully open access journal. All articles are freely available online immediately upon publication, without subscription or paywall barriers.

  • Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of all articles.

  • The journal promotes maximum dissemination and accessibility of scientific knowledge.


2. Licensing

All published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which allows:

  • Sharing: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format

  • Adaptation: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially

  • Attribution: Proper credit must be given to the original authors, a link to the license provided, and indication if changes were made


3. Article Processing Charges (APCs)

  • JMDNT does not charge authors any fees for submission, processing, or publication of articles.

  • There are no hidden costs, ensuring equitable access for authors worldwide.


4. Compliance with Funders and Indexing Requirements

  • The journal complies with international open access policies (e.g., Plan S) and is fully compatible with funding agencies that require open access.

  • Open access ensures that articles are discoverable, citable, and indexable in PubMed, Scopus, DOAJ, and other major databases.


5. Archiving and Preservation

  • Published content is permanently archived to guarantee long-term accessibility.

  • DOIs are assigned via Crossref, ensuring persistent citation links and reliable tracking of publications.
