B) Data Collection, Processing, and Storage

Whenever you request or access an JMDNT web page, the following data is collected and stored in a web server log file on JMDNT servers:

• IP address of the requesting device (e.g., 123.456.97.36)

• The referring page or address (URL) that linked to the HSZ page

• The path and name of the requested JMDNT page

• Date and time of the request (e.g., [12/Apr/2016:00:00:01 +0200])

• Volume of data transmitted

• Access status

• Type of access

• Description of the browser type or operating system used

• Session ID

• Serial number of the requesting device

The processing of this data serves the following purposes:

• Ensuring the network infrastructure and technical administration

• Optimization of specific web services

• Detection and investigation of unauthorized access attempts

Web server logs are stored for 6 months after access. After that, they are automatically deleted unless required for civil or criminal investigation due to a detected attack on our network.

C) Consent to Further Data Use

Some services offered on the JMDNT websites (e.g., newsletters, contact forms, web applications) may require the collection, processing, and longer-term storage of personal data (such as name, address, or email address). By submitting this data, you consent to its processing for the stated purpose.

D) Disclosure of Personal Data

Personal data will only be disclosed to third parties (e.g., authorities) where required by mandatory legal provisions (e.g., legal requests, court orders) or for legal prosecution (e.g., attacks on JMDNT’s infrastructure).
There is no disclosure for any other purpose.
However, JMDNT may commission external service providers to process data collected via the JMDNT websites. These providers are contractually obligated to ensure compliance with data protection laws through legal, technical, and organizational measures.

E) Tracking Settings

To better adapt our website structure and navigation to user needs, we track page visits and clicked elements using the Matomo analytics platform. Matomo uses cookies (see Section F). Data collected via these cookies, including truncated IP addresses, is not shared with third parties and is stored on JMDNT servers. IP addresses are anonymized immediately, making it impossible to link results to a specific user or to conduct behavioral profiling.

F) Cookies

Temporary cookies may be used when visiting certain JMDNT websites. These are small files stored on your device to optimize website usability. They are deleted automatically when your browser is closed. You can disable cookies via your browser settings. Please note that doing so may restrict certain functions of the website.

G) External Links

This privacy policy applies only to the JMDNT websites. When accessing third-party content via links, please refer to the respective provider’s privacy policy. JMDNT is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these third-party sites and cannot guarantee they are free of malware.

H) Use of Social Media Plugins

The JMDNT websites do not use “social media plugins” that directly transmit IP addresses to social media providers. Any visible social media buttons are simply external links to the respective platforms.

I) Use of External Search Services

The JMDNT websites use Google Search as a site-wide search engine. When using the full-text search function, you agree to the transfer of data to Google. Please note that Google’s data protection policies differ from those of JMDNT.

J) Data Security

JMDNT employs technical and organizational measures to ensure:

• The confidentiality of data and protection from accidental or unlawful access, modification, disclosure, loss, or destruction

• Access to data is granted only on a “need-to-know” basis to individuals whose roles require access
